三峡大学是经教育部批准，由原武汉水利电力大学（宜昌）和原湖北三峡学院于2000年6月29日合并成立的湖北省重点综合性大学。三峡大学地处世界水电之都、长江三峡工程所在地湖北省宜昌市。作为湖北省域副中心城市，宜昌依山傍水，绿树成荫，环境优美，气候宜人，是“中国十佳宜居城市”。学校是国家水利部和湖北省人民政府共建大学，是教育部“卓越工程师教育培养计划”高校。2018年，学校被省人民政府列为“国内一流大学建设高校”。水利工程、土木工程、电气工程等3个学科被列为“国内一流学科建设学科”。
学校现拥有4个一级学科博士点，1个博士后流动站，26个一级学科硕士点，全日制在校普通本科生22000余人，博士、硕士研究生4400余人，留学生1400余人；有教授、副教授1000余人，博士生导师130余人，国家、省部级以上各类专家80余人，湖北省“百人计划”、“楚天学者计划”特聘教授等高层次人才100余人。
China Three Gorges University, approved by the Ministry of Education, founded by the former Wuhan University of Water and Electric Power (Yichang) merging with the former Hubei Three Gorges College on June 29, 2000, is a key comprehensive university in Hubei. China Three Gorges University is located in Yichang, Hubei Province, where the Three Gorges Project is located. As a sub-central city of Hubei Province, Yichang is one of the "top ten livable cities in China," boast its beautiful landscape and pleasant climate. Jointly built by the Ministry of Water Resources and the People's Government of Hubei Province, and is a university under the Education and Training Program for Excellent Engineers of the Ministry of Education. In 2018, the school was listed as "The First-Class Constructive University in China" by the provincial people's government. Water Conservancy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering were listed as "The First-Class Constructive Disciplines in China."
The school now enjoys 4 first-level disciplines for doctoral authorization, 1 postdoctoral mobile research station, 26 first-level disciplines for master’s authorization, with more than 22,000 full-time undergraduate students, 4,400 doctoral and master’s candidates and more than 1,400 foreign students; There are over 1,000 professors and associate professors, 130 doctoral supervisors, 80 experts at the national and provincial level and above, and 100 high-level talents selected in "Hundred People Plan" and "Chutian Scholars Plan" Distinguished Professors of Hubei province.
一、论坛简介
三峡大学青年学者论坛，旨在为海内外优秀青年学者搭建学术交流平台，通过专题报告、学术研讨和人才洽谈等形式展开交流，促进学科交叉与研究合作，大力推进学校“双一流”建设步伐。
二、邀约对象条件
1、省部级以上专家等领军人才。
2、海内外知名高校的优秀博士或从事博士后研究2年及以上的优秀青年学者。
3、博士或博士后年龄一般要求35岁及以下，国家级及省部级人才按相应人才计划年龄要求。
三、论坛学科领域
土木工程、水利工程、电气工程、管理科学与工程、材料科学与工程、机械工程、计算机科学与技术、数学、医学等学科。
四、报名方式
1、符合条件的青年学者请于2019年10月05日前登录平台（https://zpjob.acabridge.cn/frm/forum/join?f_id=28）注册报名。
2、学校组织评审，确定最终邀请名单，并于2019年10月11日前向受邀学者发送邀请函。
3.受邀学者收到邀请函一周内填写回执并确认是否参会。
五、支持措施
1.报销差旅费：论坛期间学校统一安排食宿，受邀人才自订经济舱机票或火车票。报销限额为：欧美等地1.5万元/人，亚洲国家0.8万元/人，港澳台及内地0.4万元/人。
2.工作待遇面议。学校将为全职来校工作的优秀学者提供优厚的生活待遇和舒适的工作环境。
六、论坛举办时间：2019年10月30日-11月2日
1、10月30日：报到、安排住宿，校内参观。
2、10月31日：论坛开幕式，分论坛报告、学术交流。
3、11月1日：分论坛报告、学术交流，签约仪式。
4、11月2日：人才洽谈、签订意向性协议、离会。

Profile for Forum
The Young Scholars Forum of China Three Gorges University aims to set up an academic exchange platform for outstanding young scholars at home and abroad, carry out exchanges in the form of thematic reports, academic seminars and talent talks, promote interdisciplinarity and research cooperation, and vigorously advance the "Double First-Class" construction of the school.
II.Requirements for the Invited Talents
1. Leaders talents at provincial level and above;
2. Excellent doctors from well-known universities at home and abroad or outstanding young scholars who has been engaged in post-doctoral research for more than two years;
3. Doctors or Postdoctors are generally required to be under 35 years old, talents at national and provincial level are in accordance with the corresponding talent plan concerning age range.
III. Disciplines Involved
Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Mathematics,Medicine,and so on.
IV. Application
1.Eligible young scholars are requested to sign up on the platform（https://zpjob.acabridge.cn/frm/forum/join?f_id=28）before October 5, 2019;。
2.The school is in charge of organizing the review, determining the final list, and sending the invitation letter to the invited scholars before October 11, 2019;
3.The invited scholars shall fill in the receipt within one week after receiving the invitation letter, and confirm whether to attend the meeting or not.
V. Supporting Measures
1. Reimbursement of Travel Expenses: During the forum, the school will uniformly arrange accommodation, and the invited personnel will book economy class air tickets or train tickets on their own. Reimbursement limits: RMB 15,000 / person for Europe and America, RMB 8,000 / person for Asian countries, RMB 4,000 / person for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and the Mainland.
2. The salary can be negotiable. The school will provide favorable living conditions and a comfortable working environment for outstanding scholars who come to work full-time.
VI. Date: October 30-November 2, 2019
1. October 30: Check in, Accommodation Arrangement and On-campus Visit.
2. October 31: Opening Ceremony, Sub-forum Report and Academic Exchange.
3. November 1: Sub-forum Report, Academic Exchange and Signing Ceremony.
4. November 2: Talent Talks, Sign Agreement of Intent, Departure.
