Berkhamsted School is one of Britain’s leading independent schools, with 475 years of history and tradition. The School is based on four sites situated in the historic town of Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire, a prosperous community surrounded by Chiltern countryside, and within easy reach of London.The School is affiliated to the HMC, GSA and IAPS.The broad educational theme is to deliver the highest possible standards of pastoral care and education both in and out of the classroom. Berkhamsted School has a ‘diamond’ structure that combines both single-sex and co-educational teaching. Boys and girls are taught together until the age of 11 (Berkhamsted Pre-Prep and Berkhamsted Prep), separately from 11-16 (Berkhamsted Boys and Berkhamsted Girls), before coming back together again in a joint Sixth Form (Berkhamsted Sixth).

Aldenham is a small but vibrant community where pupils and staff enjoy their studies. Founded as a traditional boarding school in 1597, Aldenham today offers both Day, Boarding and Flexi-Boarding options for girls and boys. Still on the same original glorious site surrounded by green fields, within the M25 and yet only 30 minutes from central London, Aldenham is a small caring school.Boys and girls can further develop their skills or explore something new through the extensive activities programme which includes rock climbing, CCF, sailing and dance. High priority is placed on pastoral care, guidance and support within the Houses to ensure each pupil flourishes and realises his or her academic and personal potential.

Uppingham School is a fully boarding school established in 1584, the School is situated in a beautiful part of central England.

Wellington College is situated in Crowthorne, Berkshire just to the west of London and 30 minutes from Heathrow airport. It was established by Queen Victoria in 1859 as a memorial to the Great Duke who as well as defeating Napoleon at the battle of Waterloo in 1815 was himself twice British Prime Minister.

It was setup as a ‘Royal and religious foundation’ and continues to have a royal connection with HRH Queen Elisabeth II visiting on many occasions.

In 2014 we were voted ‘Best Public School’ by the prestigious Tatler Schools Guide.
