Nonversation

Definition: a completely worthless conversation, wherein nothing is illuminated, explained or otherwise elaborated upon. Typically occurs at parties, bars or other events where meaningful conversation is nearly impossible.

指完全没有价值的对话，没有任何启发、解释或其它可阐述的问题。尤其指在派对上，酒吧里或其它场合发生的对话，因为这些场合也不大可能有太有意义的对话。

E.g. Smith: What a waste of time it is talking to that guy. Jones: I know, every time I do, it's like a complete nonversation.

史密斯：跟那个人聊天简直是浪费时间。约翰：我知道，每次我跟他聊天，我也感觉很没劲。
