关于assimilation和accomodation.

前者是把新的概念融合到自己已知概念的类别里，后者则是把已知的类别扩充从而容纳新的概念。

professor给了他女儿的例子。几年前女儿还小的时候，能从家里的大窗户看到外面的鸟。不论鸟有什么不同，女儿认得那是鸟，因为鸟都是小小的、有羽毛、会飞，这就逐渐形成了concept of bird；但是后来在动物园看见了鸵鸟（ostrich），好半天eventually tell it's bird，那就说明对bird的概念已经改了，虽然鸵鸟很大，但有羽毛有翅膀，即使不会飞也是鸟。
