UCB新开分析学硕士项目

随着大数据时代的到来，根据权wēi数据统计，未来在美国对于分析人才的缺口在百万以上，所以很多院校纷纷开设分析类相关专业，以培养相关人才，满足就业市场的需求，在这样的大背景下，加州大学伯克利分校最新开设Master of Analytics项目

该项目开设在加州大学伯克利分校的工业工程与运筹系 (Department of Inustrial Engineering & Operations Research)，Berkeley IEOR在US News排名中在IEOR Grauate Program项目排名第三。该项目时11个月，讲授优化、统计、模拟和风险管理需要使用的数据驱动的分析方法，学生可以掌握最新的处理大数据的相关工具。

具体课程设置，学生需要完成25 Units的课程：

夏季学期是集中的Python课程

秋季学期是4门核心分析方法课程

春季学期是4门选修课，学生可以根据自己的兴趣进行选择

夏季学期是为期10周的实习

申请截止日期

Early: 2022年1月6日

Final: 2022年3月2日

背景要求

希望学生学习过线性代数，概率论，统计课程，以及熟悉一门编程语言。

申请材料

Ø申请费：140美元

Ø成绩单：要求最低GPA3.0以上

ØGRE： 针对2022秋是optional递交，GMAT不接受

ØGRE Math Subject Test：不要求，但是鼓励学生参加

Ø托福 90，雅思7

Ø推荐信：3封

The Statement of Purpose is your "acaemic statement" an shoul convey why you are intereste in the MEng IEOR program, what you will contribute to the program an what you plan to o after the program. The average length of this statement is two pages ouble space.

ØPersonal Statement：

The Personal History statement shoul provie insight to you as a person an any personal experiences that have influence you to apply for grauate stuies in IEOR. This statement can also inclue any obstacles or barriers that you have overcome uring your eucation career, or any social or community projects/ programs with which you have worke.

对分析类专业（商业分析，分析学，数据分析等）感兴趣的学生可以选择申请哦。该项目重点使用python作为相关的工具使用，希望申请的同学，一定要提前学习和熟悉python。
