专业背景及先修课要求

美国管理学硕士对于专业背景要求和限制不大，主要针对非商科背景学生转商科申请，部分的项目要求非商科专业背景。且要求工作经验比较短，一般不超过2年，工作经验超过2年的申请者建议直接申请工商管理学硕士MBA.

绝大多数项目不要求具体的先修课，部分项目会要求，比如芝加哥大学的Master in Management项目要求Applicants are required to have taken at minimum one quantitative/STEM class such as college-level math or statistics. The Master in Management Program at Booth is for those who earned a non-business undergraduate degree in the liberal arts or STEM fields. Students who graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) are not eligible for the Master in Management Program. All other degrees are welcome to apply. 申请者要求至少具备一门量化课程，比如大学课程水平的数学或者统计。而且芝加哥大学Booth商学院的管理学硕士主要这对本科非商科背景，比如文科或者理工科背景学生设置的，本科为工商管理专业学生不允许申请。

比如密歇根大学安娜堡分校的管理学硕士要求：non-business majors who are graduating this year or completed their undergraduate studies less than two years ago. completed a Pre-Calculus OR Introduction to Statistics course。非商科背景应届生或者毕业2年以内的学生可以申请。课程方面建议完成微积分或者统计概论的先修课，并取得C及以上的成绩，可以为大学期间修的，也可以是体现在成绩单上面的AP Calculus AB 或者 AP Statistics.

加州大学戴维斯分校的管理学硕士要求：We do not require any prerequisite courses for admission. However, it is strongly recommended that you complete course work in accounting, calculus, economics and statistics prior to enrolling in the UC Davis MM program, particularly if you do not have sharp quantitative skills or do not achieve a strong score on the quantitative section of the GMAT. In addition, it is strongly recommended that you are proficient in the use of various computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel. 强烈建议申请者在入读之前完成会计、微积分、经济和统计的课程。

所以，目标申请美国的管理学硕士，建议可以补这些先修课：基本的量化课程，例如微积分、统计学，其次是商科、经济学的入门类课程：Introductory courses in Economics, Statistics, Business or Management, Financial Accounting, Finance and Marketing.

申请要求和院校档次

管理学作为应用型比较强的商科专业，对于总体的申请要求还是比较高的。好学校的商学院基本都是要求托福达到100分以上，或者雅思7.0-7.5以上，且非常看中申请者相关的实习经历，尤其是创业经历。有管理岗位的课外活动经历也是很好的加分项。对于目标院校的定位可以参考：

第一梯队，申请难度最大的几所学校，比如耶鲁大学、杜克大学、芝加哥大学、康奈尔大学等，建议国内重点985名校或者海本top院校背景，GPA 3.8以上，TOEFL 110分以上，GRE 330分或者GMAT 740以上，同时具备最好3-4段以上高质量及top名企的实习或者相关的创业经历，一定要有领导力体现。

第二梯队院校，比如密歇根大学安娜堡分校、乔治城大学、埃默里大学等top 30其他学校，建议GPA 3.6以上，TOEFL 100+， GRE 320+或者GMAT 700+，同时具备2-3段相关的实习经历。

其他top 50院校也建议申请者具备3.4以上的GPA, 100以上的托福成绩和320以上的GRE成绩才会比较有竞争力。
