加拿大留学用雅思吗

1、不一定要考雅思，可以考托福。雅思和托福都是加拿大院校认可的语言成绩。但是对于加拿大很多院校来讲，托福成绩有一定的优势。举个例子来说，加拿大本科院校的录取成绩是雅思6.5分，而托福成绩80多分就可以被这个学校录取。

2、而雅思7分相当于托福100分，对于中国学生来所，要想考出雅思6.5分的成绩不是那么容易，但是相对于托福要考到80分左右却是比较轻松的。从语言学校托福项目的数据来看，参加托福考试申请美国和加拿大留学的学生占到一半以上。

加拿大有两个优惠签证政策SPP和SDS，走这两个签证通道，申请人的获签率更高且获签时间短。但是这两个签证要求申请人有合格的雅思成绩，如果没有雅思成绩只能办理普通签证。所以从这个角度来看，考雅思的优势更大。
