加拿大留学生什么时候放假

加拿大大学“寒假”很短，一般从12月中旬放假到1月初，主要是圣诞和新年的假期，加拿大大学的暑假很长，对本科生来说，通常是5、6、7、8共4个月的假期，学生可以选择休假，打工，也可以选择利用暑假多修一些课程，争取早日毕业。

秋季学期：9月初-12月中旬，考完试开始放寒假，可是加拿大的寒假比较短，只要3个星期左右，留学的同学一般不回国。

冬天学期：1月初-4月中旬，也有的校园到5月才考完试，5月-9月初连续4个月都是暑假。加拿大暑假的时刻十分长，想快点修完学分的同学也能够去上课，可是课程较少，大多数留学生会去打工或者回国。

当然也有校园是例外的，增加了一个5月开学的学期，这样每年就有三个开学时刻，为1、5、9月。另外如果是1、9月开学的校园，5-9月这段时刻是暑假，如果是1、5、9开学的校园，那5月份校园会安排给学生一些提高语言和专业水平的课程或转学分课程。
