全美学校管理者联合会(AASA)

　　全美学校管理者联合会的使命为支持和发展名副其实致力于给孩子最高质量公众教育的学校管理者。

　　全美学校管理者联合会成立于1865年，是为全美13000多名教育负责人服务的专业机构。联合会成员包括首席执行官、督导、高级学校管理者、内阁成员、教授及有远大抱负的教育系统管理者。

　　全美学校管理者联合会成员是儿童教育的主要倡导者。他们推崇公众教育，在各自学区甚至全国范围内积极支持孩子教育。他们为学术教育制定计划，协助制定政策，监督政策贯彻执行，在公众面前代表各自学区。

　　全美学校管理者联合会“为公众教育而战”运动是一项支持高质量公众教育的长期运动。该运动的核心观念为“公众教育对于美国民主的可持续性发展至关重要；管理艺术与素质教育密切相关”。

　　教育系统管理者加入联合会可以得到拥护支持，获得专业充电，信息畅通，构建关系网络，并得到认可。

　　全美学校管理者联合会的管理机构为选举产生的董事会、执行委员会及指定顾问委员会。联合会的管理者为主席、选举主席和往届主席。

American Association of School Administrators
(AASA)

The mission of the American Association of School Administrators is to support and develop effective school system leaders who are dedicated to the highest quality public education for all children.

The American Association of School Administrators, founded in 1865, is the professional organization for more than 13,000 educational leaders across the United States. AASA members range from chief executive officers, superintendents and senior level school administrators to cabinet members, professors and aspiring school system leaders.

AASA members are the chief education advocates for children. AASA members advance the goals of public education and champion children's causes in their districts and nationwide. As school system leaders, AASA members set the pace for academic achievement. They help shape policy, oversee its implementation and represent school districts to the public at large.

AASA's "Stand Up for Public Education" campaign is a multiyear effort to support high-quality public education. The campaign is founded on the core belief that public education is vital to the continued success of American democracy and that leadership matters in improving outcomes for children.

School system leaders join AASA for advocacy, professional enrichment, information, representation, support, networking and recognition.

AASA is governed by an elected Governing Board and Executive Committee. Additional opportunities for leadership involvement include appointed Advisory Committees. The officers of AASA include the president, president-elect and past president.
