Amy Torok Mendel

　　艾米·特若克·明戴尔在阿拉巴马州伯明翰市的高地学校工作12年。今年是她第四年担任低年级学校校长。在此之前，她负责学前班、小学一年级和三年级的教学工作以及课外拓展项目。明戴尔毕业于里士满和三福大学，她一直都对国际交流非常感兴趣。2007年，凯瑟琳·伍兹巴为高地学校引进了汉语课程，从此她对中国的兴趣达到了顶峰。尽管明戴尔将会非常思念家乡的丈夫和孩子，但她对参加此次的校长论坛仍感到非常激动。

Amy Torok Mendel has enjoyed working at Highlands School in Birmingham, Alabama for 12 years. She is currently serving in her 4th year as Head of Lower School (grades Preschool-5). In other years, Mendel taught Preschool, 1st grade, and 3rd grade and directed the Extended Day Program. A graduate of the University of Richmond and Samford University, Mendel has always been interested in global connections. Her interest in China, specifically, peaked when Kathryn Woodson Barr brought a Madarin language program to Highlands School in 2007. Mendel is excited to be attending the Principal's Forum, although she is thinking of her husband and 2 daughters (ages 5 and 8) at home.
