　　 堂娜·迪温

　　我在阿灵顿高地的二十五学区工作已经有22年了。我教过幼儿园里的一年级班、二年级班以及多年龄合班(三岁半至五岁)，教授速成数学，并指导天赋出众的学生。我做过三年本学区办公室内课程与教导的副主管。在2007年6月，我被任命为帕顿初级中学的校长。

　　帕顿是所拥有425名学生的一层楼的学校。我们为有孤独症的孩子设立专门计划，并把8名学生分设于两间教室。这些学生可以和他们的同学充分接触。我乐于与那些坚信每个孩子都有学习能力的专业人士共事。我在帕顿初中的办公室里还养了一个鸟蛛，取名为麦克斯。

　　我已经和我丈夫，堂，结婚三十年了。我们有三个好女儿和一个女婿。老大在俄克拉荷马州的俄克拉荷马城里作兽医，老二在密苏里州的圣路易斯城里的一家公司里从事企业传媒公关工作。我们的小女儿正在攻读中等教育专业的硕士学位并在当地一家高中里代课。我们住在伊利诺斯州的印威内斯城已经有13年了。

Donna Devine

This is my twenty-second year as an educator in Arlington Heights School District 25. I have taught Kindergarten, first grade, ? multi-age, second grade, accelerated math, and a teacher of the gifted. I worked for three years at the district office for the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction in a position that we call Teacher on Assignment. In June of 2007, I was named Principal of Patton Elementary School.

Patton is a K-5 building with 425 students. We house a district program for children with autism and have 8 students in two classrooms. These students are integrated with their typical peers as much as possible. I enjoy working with a dedicated staff of professionals who truly believe that every child can learn. I have a pet tarantula named Max who lives in my office at Patton School.

I have been married to my husband, Don, for 30 years. We have three wonderful daughters and one son-in-law. Our oldest is a Veterinarian who practices in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; our middle daughter is in corporate communications for a company in St. Louis, Missouri. Our youngest is working on her Masters Degree in Secondary Education and is currently student teaching in math at a local high school. We have lived in Inverness, Illinois for 13 years.
