SAT写作细节描述的技巧

第一，使用具体名字。模糊的写法可能是：He sold his camper. 而具体词汇的使用则是：Luke sold his Winnebago.

第二，使用逼真活泼的动词。模糊的写法：The flag moved in the breeze. 具体化变成：The flag fluttered in the breeze.

第三，名词前使用修饰词汇。模糊写法：A man strained to lift the crate. 具体化变成：A heavyset, perspiring man strained to lift the heavy wooden crate.

注意这里heavyset, perspiring, heavy wooden这些字的使用。

第四，使用与感官有关的词汇——视觉，听觉，视觉，味觉，触觉等。

模糊写法：That woman jogs five miles a day 视觉具体化：That fragile-looking, gray-haired woman jogs five miles a day.

模糊写法： A noise told the crowd that there were two minutes left to play. 听觉具体化： A piercing whistle told the cheering crowd that there were two minutes left to play.
