Over the course of the past one hundred years the automobile has become a staple of modern society, and its　impact has been considerable. Yet the question of whether it has improved our live or caused serious problems is　irrelevant, because the automobile has done both. Consequently, we should develop its strengths and seek to　correct the problems it continues to cause in order to reap greater benefits from this tool.

With the invention of the automobile the age of transportation shifted into another gear. Quickly it became　possible for people to travel more comfortably and conveniently to destinations near and far, and the figurative　world moved closer together. Trucks carried cargo across countries and soon became serious competition for trains　and ships. As a result, food and other consumer goods have become available even in remote areas, overall living　standards have improved, and the automobile industry, which has grown fantastically over the course of the past　century, employs millions of workers worldwide.

However, as societal reliance and global economic dependence have grown together with the automobile　industry, many significant problems have surfaced. Car and truck exhausts pollute the air in metropolitan areas　around the world and thus create serious health problems. The continued use of fossil fuel engines and the　scarcity of oil have led to much political strife and even war, particularly in the oil rich region of the Middle East.

As the powerful automobile industry remains reluctant and has yet to successfully promote an engine type that　does not rely on gasoline power, the problem of fossil fuel shortage will become an even more serious problem.　Since the automobile is here to stay we must not only enjoy its conveniences, but we must also aim to reduce　the problems it has caused, for example air pollution and over reliance on fossil fuel engines. In the same vein, we　must encourage the usage of alternative fuel sources, which have been researched and developed successfully. Then　the benefits of the automobile will outweigh the serious problems.

There are some primary schools and secondary schools stipulate that the student bring the cellphone to school is not allowed. There is a lot of discussion about whether the students use the cellphone is good or bad.

The supporters think the cellphone is widely used today, the students usually keep themselves in touch with their parents or guardians via the cellphone any time. As for the security issue, the cellphone is necessary. On the other hand, the students can use it as a tool of study. They can search the study materials on line by using the cellphone, it will cut down much cost of the time, make the study more efficiently.

And other people think that the juveniles is not matured enough to use the cellphone in the right way. There were some reports said that some students used the cellphone to cheat in the exam. And also, many parents found that their children would attain some inappropriate information from the net service on the cellphone, it is not easy to supervise that. What the worst result is, they become a cellphone addict, stick to the cellphone anywhere anytime.

There are the advantages and disadvantages of the cellphone, I think the most important of all is how to use it as the best tool of our life instead of letting it control your life.

Moreover,it is very easy to send messages to your friends.Mobile phones can make people keep intimacy in spite of long distance.

Mobile phones are turning the world into a small vilage where we can commmunicate with each other easily and simply.

Finally,another point in favour of mobile phonesis that you can avoid disturbing anyone when he is sleeping or working because in that case people often turn off their mobile phones.

On the other hand,there are some drawbacks,too.Firstly,the most important disadvantage is the unknown effects on health in case of over-use.Scientists found that mobile phones can cause brain cancer.

If you talk for so many hours,you are going to have headacheand ear problems.Secondly,the mobile phone stimulate home for the high cost of communication.

If you are in 3 membered family,you would spend a lot of money on mobile phone.

Because two to three of family have it, it cost about 150-200 D in a month.

Furthermore,the inappropriate use of mobile phones could be bothersome.

For example,it is very inappropriate to hear a mobile phone ringing during a formal conversation,during a lesson,in a libraryor in a cinema.

Finally,mobile phones waste people too much time.

An Amerian survey show that the teen-ager will spend average 2 hours to send messages every day.

In conclusion, there are some benefits and drawbacks to mobile phones.

Personally,I don't like mobile phones very much,but I need use them.

It seems to me, mobile phones are good only if you use them correctly and politely,as in this case,all technology is beneficial!
