雅思口语中常用连接词的分类

一、并列关系

由firstly、 secondly、thirdly等引导的句子之间构成了并列关系，意思是“第一点是……，第二点是……，其三是……”。不过，外国人在日常交谈中表达自己的观点时，并不太注意这些提示语的使用。如果要使用，他们更喜欢以下的表达方式：

1、Firstly=to start with/to begin with/first off

2、Secondly=also/as well/and

3、Thirdly=furthermore/besides/ last but not least

二、因果关系

So/ So that/because = cuz/ therefore，therefore是比较正式的用法，而cause和coz是because的非正式用法，可以在回答时适当地替换because，但是记住不要用得太多，否则会给考官留下太过刻意的印象。

三、让步关系

Although / Even though / Even if / as long as

四、转折关系

转折关系是指句子的后半部分不遵循前面的意思说下去，而是与前面部分的意思相反，发生转折。在中文里面，表达转折关系的关联词包括：虽然……但是……、……却……、尽管……还是……等等。在英语中，表示转折的词有But……、However……、Though等。Though常放在句末，相当于在句中加上but。
