There is a belief that educational qualifications always lead to successful careers, while others disagree. From my perspective, I agree with the opinion that academic qualifications are not the only way to success.

Indeed, it does seem plausible that educational qualifications are recognized as a panacea for all impediments embedded in reality. For those who think in this way, they assume that all tricky conditions in life are inextricably bound up with inadequate educational backgrounds, whether these be frustration in job hunting, or peer pressure in everyday life. Given these, they opt to see polished educational backgrounds as the key to ensure success in life, from finding decent jobs or establishing self-esteem.

While the above reasoning seems to have its justification to some extent, I will agree with the opponents who negate the causal link between academic grades and life satisfaction. Those devotees of educational determinism are oblivious to the irrelevant connection within their logiccareer prospects dont hinge on how many certificates one can provide; rather, whether individuals achieve their aims is subject to various determining factors. Back to the conundrums in workplaces, while academic qualifications indicate candidates expertise in their major, oftentimes, it is other indicators such as working experience or networks that help one win a position, particularly in businesses like sales or customer service, where certificates do not have much of a role to play in dealing with clients.

From what has been discussed above, it is my conclusion therefore, there is no casual connection between career success and education, whereas multiple factors also contribute to life satisfaction.
