如果他/她是学生

假设你想要讲述的这个人是个学生，为此学生就是他/她的主业。同时，我们还可以额外拓展和他/她专业、学校、学习情况等相关的内容。那么对于他/她次要在做的事情，我们可以思考一下和学生会、社团、班干部、创业、兼职等相关的事情。如果他/她真的只是专注于学习的话，你也可以想一想他/她所学习的东西、学习的地方、学习的时间等是否有出现主次变化。

Example ：

He is a senior student like me, but he studies at Beijing University, a very prestigious university in my country. He works very hard and always wins prizes for his academic abilities. Even though he is busy studying, he still finds the time to be the president of the student union. He has organized lots of interesting activities in his school which were welcomed by everyone.

以上是按照主次来回答的，那么当然我们也可以按照时间线的方式来描述。但当然，我们肯定不会回答说他/她曾经是初中生，现在是大学生，这样的回答是没有意义的。你应该这么思考：有些人虽然现在是学生，但之前有过辍学打工的经历;有些人则是之前是负责一些社团运营的，但现在专注在学习里;有些人之前可能是在国内读书的，但现在去到了国外等。

Example ：

He used to study at my university and he always came first in competitions. Last year, he got the chance to be an exchange student at Harvard University and he loved it. He decided to continue his studies there and is currently there right now.

如果他/她是普通人

假设他/她只是一个普通的社会人员，那么他/她目前你所了解的工作就是他/她的主业。比如我，雅思口语老师。其实主业这一层身份是比较容易找到的，而对于他/她的副业，你可以思考一下他们额外有在做什么?比如微商、投资、自媒体等。拿我来举例，我的副业就是公众号运营者。如果这个人真的只有一份工作的话，你也可以思考一下他/她的本职工作是否可以拆分主次。比如我是口语老师，我主教线下，但偶尔也教线上;或者我主教雅思，偶尔我也会教面试口语。

Example：

She is a Math teacher working at a local high school. She is very popular among students because of her unique teaching style. During the holidays, she goes to rural areas in western China to help children receive a better education.

如果你要思考一个人工作变化的情况，你也可以思考一下，他/她之前可能做过、现在正在做以及未来想要做的工作。

Example ：

She used to be an accountant working in a well-known International company. Even though she received a high salary, she decided to resign two years ago, as she didnt like dealing statistics all day long.

Now she has her own Virtual Reality company. She thinks its the future and believes that highly advanced technology can provide more convenience to everyday lives.

如果他/她是明星

假设他/她是一个明星，那么他/她是唱歌的，歌手就是他/她最主要的身份。而次要的你还可以思考一下，比如慈善。明星是一定要做慈善的，毕竟他们是公众人物。除此之外，很多明星现在都拥有自己的品牌，不管是潮牌还是火锅店。当然很多明星也都被称为影视歌三栖，为此他/她主业是唱歌的，但也会演戏，参加综艺节目等等。如果这个明星真的只是唱歌的，没有其他事情在做，那么你又可以思考一下他的歌曲风格、他的歌曲知名度等是否存在主次关系。

Example ：

As a well-known singer, he has created over thousands of pop songs not only for himself but also for other singers. He has won many musical awards. He also dedicates himself to charity work.

For example, he has built 10 schools in western China and during his free time, he tries to visit them. He likes to teach the children how to sing songs.

当然你也可以从时间线的变化当中来聊一个明星的工作变化。他/她可能最开始并非是个明星，但后来因为遇到伯乐，或者自己的坚持等找到了机会最终成为明星。如若他的工作没有发生变化，那么你也可以从他/她作为歌手或者演员的身份上进行时间线拆分。他/她可能最开始的时候是演好人的，但现在他/她更喜欢演反派，用来挑战自己。
