01电影的类型与相关表达：

首先我们要清楚各种电影(包括影视剧)的类型和题材该怎么说。

现在市面上主要的影片可以归为这几类：

动作片 (Action movie)

古装片(Costume movie)

武侠片(Swordsmen film)

战争片(War movie)

恐怖片(Dracula movie)

惊悚片(Thriller)

科幻片(Science fiction / Sci-Fi)

灾难片(Disaster movie)

悬疑片(Suspense movie)

喜剧(Comedy)、情景喜剧(Sitcom)

动画片(Animation)

纪录片(Documentary)

一般在介绍一部电影时候，我们可以附带上对它的风格进行概括。

比如 战狼2 是一部正能量的电影(Positive energy)、 泰囧 是滑稽欢闹的(Hilarious)、 我不是药神 是非常感人的(Moving / Touching)。

在确定了电影类型后，我们可以对他的情节(Plot)、演员(actor/actress)和视觉效果(visual effect)分别进行描述。

情节是比较好描述，本质上是说一个故事。

描述演员可以说他演技精湛(superb/skillful)和令人印象深刻(Impressive)。

例：The plot of the movie is hilarious and the actors performance is impressive.

视觉效果上，大家可以掌握几个描述词，不仅能形容电影，也可以用来形容表演、灯光秀等等。

极好的视觉效果和数字特效镜头(Terrific visual effect and digital special effect shots )、视觉盛宴(The feast to the eyes )、 令人大开眼界的事物(Eye opener)

例：I like watching them in a cinema because of the terrific visual effect and digital special effect shots there. You know, I can fully enjoy the feast to the eyes it brings to me.

那除了描述电影本身，我们经常还会被问到两类问题，一是喜不喜欢电影，二是为什么喜欢或者说电影有什么影响(Part3 经常会直接单独问影响方面的问题)。

首先喜欢除了用like，我们还可以用两个词来替代 Be into (对极感兴趣，喜欢)和Be fascinated with(对极其喜欢，入迷)

例：I am fascinated with comedies, which help reduce my stress(缓解压力) from my study by making me laugh(让我开心/感到娱乐).

那为什么喜欢或者想看一部电影，可以从外部评价和它所带来的影响两方面来讲。

外部评价可以说这是一部好莱坞大片(Hollywood blockbuster)、一部高票房电影(Box office hit)或者这部电影的口碑非常好( a film with really good word of mouth )/在豆瓣评分很高(a film scores highly on Douban, a Chinese film and TV review platform.)

例：I am a big fan of the Hollywood blockbusters, like Inception, Mission Impossible and a lot of other box office hit.

在回答电影的影响时候，我们可以说从中收获(Benefit from)什么，或者说这部电影引发了人们的思考和共鸣(Resonate)。

比如，我们从这部电影感受到正能量、从角色身上感受到强大的意志力(Strong willpower)，它在学习和生活中激励我甚至帮我解决了很多得失的问题(The ups and downs of life);也可以是看电影是我们娱乐休闲(entertainment and leisure)的方式之一，帮助我们放松;还可以是电影中有很多不一样的文化(various culture)，可以让我们知道许多平常接触不到的知识或乐趣。

例：I benefit a lot from the main character who has a strong willpower, and his story in the movie motivates me in both my studies and daily life.We all feel that the movie brings us positive energy that helps us deal with the ups and downs of life.

Q:Are films a waste of money?看电影是在浪费钱吗?

A:I think it depends on the person(依个人情况而定). But for me personally, I dont think it is a waste of money at all. I enjoy watching movies, and I think it is one of the best relaxation exercises(一种放松锻炼的形式) for me. When I have the pleasure of watching a fantastic movie, I actually feel that I broaden my views(开阔了自己的视野), experience something totally different from my life(体验了与生活截然不同的东西), as well as fulfilled my emotional states(丰富了自己的情感). But I believe it is hard for someone who doesnt like movies to think in the same way I thought.

Q:Are movie stars important to movie?电影明星对电影重要吗?

A:I think in some aspect, yes. But I prefer those who half better acting ability(演技较好的人), not those who only have a pretty appearance with little performance skill(徒有其表). Song famous movie stars mings oh better quality of their movies, but for me personally, I would rather believe in some famous directors(更相信著名导演) since I believe their views on choosing the actor or actress(他们在选角上更有看法). I am also looking forward to seeing more faces on the screen who can give the shots perfectly.

Q:Are foreign movies popular in china?外国电影在中国流行吗?

A:Yeah, I think so. the foreign movies contain movies from any other different countries. Some popular movies in China are primarily in Korean, Japanese, or English. For example, the Marvel and DC movies(漫威电影和DC电影) actually got up very high sales in China. Other romantic or classic movies also have a large repeat amount of playing every year(每年都会有重复播放). People from almost all ages know some classical movies(经典电影) such as Titanic.

Q:Is it important that a country has its own movies?一个国家有自己的电影重要吗?

A:To be honest, I think yes, any country needs at least some of their own movies as long as they can do it. Thinking about the countries that have the money and skills to make their own movie, it is actually a good way to publicize their governments idea(宣传政府理念) and gather cohesion from the citizens(凝聚本国公民) in their country. Besides, having more movies created by its own country might make people feel a sense of belonging when watching the movie(让人们在看电影的时候具有归属感). Those who love movies but their countries dont have the movie production industry, I guess they might feel a sense of insecurity or doubt(感到不安全感或阴郁).
